Tour Highlights -  JAIPUR :   This  is  the  'Pink  city',   so  called  because  of  the  pink sand  stone  used  extensively  in  construction  of  all  the  old  buildings.  JODHPUR :   The  gate  way  to  the  Great  Thar  Desert, Jodhpur  is  a fascinating blend of Palaces,  Forts,  Temples and cheerful  people.    JAISALMER : :  Built  in   the  heart  of the desert,  this  ancient  city  fascinates  all  with  its old world charm and architectural marvels.   BIKANER : With all it's wonders,  Bikaner  is as  savoury  as the spicy  Indian 'Snacks' it is popularly known for.  THAR DESERT : Experience  the ways of  the Nomads taking a  'Camel Safari' through the desert ! LEH :  An  important   centre,  of  Buddhist  religion ,  culture  and art since 3rd century A.D.  MONASTERIES : The region is dotted  with centuries  old 'Gompas',   which   are  a  cache  of  untold   treasures  of   Art,  Culture    and History.  UPSHI - MANALI ROAD :  You  will  traverse  the  most  adventurous trail  through  the   valley  of   Lahaul   and  the   ZANSKAR   mountains. Passes   over   5200 m ( 17,000 ft ) and the    spectacular  landscape  are  the  key  features  of   this route.   MANALI - The  jewel  of  the Kullu valley,  Manali  is  where  you  begin  your journey  into  the  mountains.

  • Day01:Delhi-Jaipur - Early morning arrival at Delhi. Proceed by road to the 'Pink city' - Jaipur. Day at leisure to relax and unwind. Overnight in Hotel / Haveli (traditional house).
  • Day02: Jaipur - Visit The City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of wind) and the Jantar-Mantar (ancient Observatory). Evening at leisure.  Overnight in Hotel / Haveli.
  • Day03: Jaipur-Jodhpur - Morning departure by road, arriving by midday at Jodhpur. Day at leisure. Overnight in Hotel / Haveli.
  • Day04: Jodhpur - Visit the Mehrangarh Fort and spend the evening  by  the  Balsamand  Lake  and visiting the 840 year old summer palace. Overnight in Hotel / Haveli.
  • Day05: Jodhpur-Jaisalmer - Morning  departure  by  road  to  Jaisalmer,  arriving  by  noon. Day  at leisure to explore the city bazaars and visiting some of the exquisite 'Havelis'. Overnight in Hotel / Haveli. 
  • Day06: Jaisalmer - Day  visit  to  the  Jaisalmer Fort - renowned for its Palace and 'Jain' Temples.        In the evening, ride into the desert on camel-back to witness the phenomenon of a desert sunset !        Spend the night in a desert camp.
  • Day07: Jaisalmer - Return to Jaisalmer; Visit Ludurva- an important 'Jain' pilgrimage centre, and          Aakal- a Wood Fossil Park with fossils dating back to 180 million years ago ! Evening at leisure. Overnight in Hotel / Haveli. 
  • Day08: Jaisalmer-Bikaner - Morning departure by road,  arriving at Bikaner by lunch time. Day at        leisure. Overnight in Hotel / Haveli. 
  • Day09: Bikaner - Day visit to the Junagarh Fort- housing numerous palaces, temples and pavilions within. Evening excursion to Karni-Mata Temple famous for the thousands of Rats that live here permanently !  Stay on for the 'Aarti'- the holy ceremony performed at sunset. Farewell dinner. Overnight in Hotel / Haveli.
  • Day10: Bikaner-Chandigarh - Morning departure by road to Chandigarh. Evening arrival. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day11: Chandigarh-Manali - Proceed through the mountain country to the hill station of Manali. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day12: Manali - Day at leisure. Evening excursion to Old Manali village.  Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day13: Manali-Keylong / Jispa - Morning departure by road; cross the Rohtang Pass to enter the different world of Lahaul valley. Halt at Keylong or Jispa for the night. Overnight in Hotel / Guest house.
  • Day14: Keylong/Jispa-Sarchu - An impressive drive through a breathtaking landscape ! Crossing the Baralacha-La pass finally brings you to Sarchu. Overnight in Tents. 
  • Day15: Sarchu-Pang - A very interesting drive over two passes. The constantly changing scenery is sure to leave one agape. Overnight in Tents. 
  • Day16: Pang-Leh - The last day drive before reaching the final destination- Leh.  Cross Taglang-La,  the highest pass on this route (17500ft , 5300m). Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day17: Leh - Spend the day relaxing and to explore the town. Visit the palace and the Leh monastery. Enjoy the sunset from 'Shanti Stupa' located atop a hilltop. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day18: Leh - Excursion to Stok, Shey palaces and Thiksey monastery. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day19: Leh - Day excursions to the Likir and Alchi Monasteries.  Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day20: Leh - Excursions to the world's highest motorable Pass- Khardung La ( 5620m ).  Farewell dinner. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day21: Leh-Delhi - Take the morning flight to Delhi. Day at leisure for sightseeing and souvenir hunting. After dinner transfer to Airport for flight back home.
