Shrouded   in   mystery,   the   regions  of  Kinnaur,   Lahaul   &   Spiti   were till  the last   decade  'out  of  bounds'  for   the  out   side   world.    Deep   in the   lap   of   the    Himalayas,    this    region   has   preserved   its    history, culture  and  traditions  of   over  a   thousand  years !   The   ancient   Hindu temple  at  Sangtha,   and  the  1000  year   old   Monastery  at   Tabo   show the  strong  presence  of  the  two  most   important  religions   co-existing in harmony   since   time  immemorial.     The    spectacular    landscape,    the serene   and   peaceful   environment   along   with   flavours   of   the   local culture,  enable   a   visitor   to   come   close    to    the    heart    of   mother nature  and explore discover oneself from within.
 

Tour Highlights -   SHIMLA :  A  popular  hill  station  which  was  once  the  summer capital  of  India   under  the  British   rule.   SARAHAN:  Famous   for   the   ancient temple  edicated  to  the  Goddess 'Kaali'.  CHITKUL :  A  remote  Himalayan village recognized   for  its  traditional  architecture.    TABO :  According   to   the   legend, the   1000   year  old  Monastery  here  was  built  in  just  one  night!                     KAZA : The  District  Head  Quarter  of the region  on  the   banks of  River Chandra. KYE  MONASTERY :  Built   atop    an   isolated   hill,    this  spectacular   Monastery stands   proud   amidst   the   stark   rocky  landscape  since  centuries.                 ROHTANG  PASS :  The  'Gateway'  to the  'Heart of  the  Himalayas'-  The  Zanskar  &  Ladakh.    MANALI :  Located  on  the  banks  of  the river Beas,  this little  town is  a  popular  retreat,  which  provides  many  a  romantic  settings!  MANIKARAN : A pilgrim place of the 'Sikhs'- famous for it's temple.

  • Day01: Delhi-Shimla - Early morning arrival at Delhi. 0700 hrs departure by train to Kalka. From there on proceed by road to Shimla. Evening at leisure. Overnight in hotel.
  • Day02: Shimla - Day to explore the town. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day03: Shimla-Sangla - Drive through the picture perfect , lush green Kinnaur District; visit places of historical importance en-route;  finally halt at the campsite in the Sangla valley. Overnight in Tents.
  • Day04: Sangla - Excursion to Chitkul village and adjoining areas; Campfire Dinner; Overnight in tents.
  • Day05: Sangla-Kaza - Drive through the Spiti valley to Tabo, famous for its 1000 year old Monastery; Continue to Kaza, set in the wide valley on the banks of river Spiti; Overnight in Hotel / Guest house.
  • Day06: Kaza - Morning at leisure. Excursion to Tabo, visiting the millennium old Monastery. Overnight in Hotel / Guest house at Kaza..
  • Day07: Kaza - Morning visit to Kye Monastery, which served as a center of learning for Buddhists since many centuries. Take a drive to Kibber (said to be the highest village in the world). Evening at leisure. Overnight in Hotel / Guest house.
  • Day08: Kaza-Manali - Drive over the Kunzum-La pass- a spectacular journey through the rugged mountains. After reaching Koksar, cross over the Rohtang Pass into the Kullu valley to reach Manali. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day09: Manali - Day at leisure to relax and unwind in the soothing environs of Manali. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day10: Manali - Day excursion to Manikaran, an important site of pilgrimage for the 'Sikhs'. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day11: Manali - Day for excursions around Manali. Overnight in Hotel.
  • Day12: Manali-Delhi - Morning departure by road to Chandigarh and proceed by train to Delhi. Evening at leisure. Farewell dinner and thereafter transfer to Airport for flight back home.
